WELCOME TO THE DOBIE LONGHORNS FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION
Welcome one and all to J.F. Dobie Longhorns Football Organization. We are an organization run by
volunteers of parents, teachers, etc. doing what it takes to keep the team running at its best capacity
and provide monetary scholarships to players who excel in the classroom and on the playing field.
The proceeds of the fundraisers and items that we sell all go towards this means and we need each
and every parent, grandparent, family members and friends to help support our cause. Because
without you and your support, our organization, just like any, would fail.

Everyone is welcome to attend the monthly booster club meeting. Meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the school library. Please come and join our football family. Membership is $15.00 per family and entitles you to voting rights. Come and let your voice be heard. |

| CALLING ON LINEMEN (OFFENSE & DEFENSE) Manvel High School with be hosting a State Qualifying Lineman Challenge to be held at Manvel High School on May 16, 2009. There will be a lineman challenge State tournament for those who qualify. On current freshmen through 11 graders are eligible to compete. |
